Debates ”The influence of youth policies on peace-building in the local community” took place in Tuzla, Gračanica, Srebrenik, Bratunac, Srebrenica and Milići, and totally 91 young women and men participated. Debates were supported by 4 youth organizations from Tuzla Canton and 2 youth organizations from Birač region.
In the frame of this activity, young people of different nationalities, gender, social background from towns and villages heard and expressed different opinions on common interests, and advocating for introducing the topic of peace-building in local youth policy. Also, this will be a good way to improve the dialogue among the youth in the dealing with the past process. This will ultimately contribute to the recognition that peace building is a continued process in which all have a responsibility to actively participate.
