Training for young women leaders
Within the frame of Project „Women’s Education Center“ supported by Swedish Fondation Kvinna till Kvinna, Association „HO HORIZONTI“ Tuzla and Association „Forum žena“ Bratunac organized training on „Project Management“ with objective to empower capacities of young women leaders.
The training, which took place in Hotel „Horizont“ Baška Voda from August 22-25 2013, was led by Trainers Elvira Živanović from Tuzla and Milena Nikolić from Srebrenica. Training was participated by 12 young women and girls from Tuzla, Bratunac and Srebrenica already involved in activities of these organizations, who share interest in learning about leadership and are motivated to act jointly in order to make changes in their local communities.
Besides new knowledge and skills acquirement in area of project management, participants were introduced to key phases of definition and project management, steps, methods and approach in process of project management and monitoring, as well as project evaluation and reporting. Furthermore, participants were tasked to define realistic, measurable and indicative plan using logical framework approach.
