Contribution to sustainable return in Birač region

Project: „CONTRIBUTION TO SUSTAINABLE RETURN THROUGH STRENGTHENING AND IMPROVING PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF RETURNEES IN BIRAČ REGION, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA“

The Project was implemented in partnership with NGO „Forum žena“ Bratunac.

The overall project objective: Contribution to sustainable return and making the reintegration process easer through psychosocial support to women returnees.

Target group:

Primary target group 180 women, aged between 30 and 60, who are returnees to Bratunac municipality, and internally displaced persons – self supported mothers and women who suffer from serious war and post-war traumas.

Project activities:

• counseling and educative sessions aimed to protection of psychological well-being and functioning (psycho-educative workshops) for women returnees and internally displaced persons from Bratunac municipality (Bratunac, Glogova, Voljavica, Hranča, Magašići, Biljača)
• evaluation
• preparation and distribution of educative brochures
• networking of women with “Forum žena” Bratunac and their reintegration into local community.
