Visit Israel
Study group of nine women,members of KtK network in Bosnia and Herzegovina visited Palestine and Israel between 17-22 November, 2014. In the frame of study visit “Combating violence against women and promoting women’s political participation”, group visited Bethlehem, and participated in workshop on violence against women with representatives of Palestinian women’s organizations. In Nablus, participants visited Women’s Educational Centre, while a meeting with Working Women Society for Development (PWWSD) took place in Ramallah. In the tourist part of the journey, the participants visited the church in Bethlehem, Samaritan Museum, Mount of Olives, the old part of Jerusalem, the oldest city in the world Jericho Tell es-Sultan and the Dead Sea. “This study visit was very interesting since we had an opportunity to see an enormous activity of women of Palestine in such difficult conditions of war,” said Mira Vilušić, project manager of the “HO Horizonti” Tuzla.
