In the period May 2013-May 2014, Association “HO HORIZONTI” Tuzla and “Forum žena“ Bratunac implemented trainings “Dealing with the past to build the future” that involved total of 12 young women, six from Bratunac and Srebrenica and six from Tuzla. Training was implemented through four modules, namely: Understanding conflict and conflict transformation, Identity and discrimination, Dealing with the past and Women’s Activism – Community Development. With the support of Trainers Mira Vilušić (“HO Horizonti” Tuzla) and Stanojka Tesic (“Forum žena“ Bratunac), participants were able to better understand the past and elements concerning the acceptance of the past and to become empowered young women – active participants in their societies.
