Workshop on violence against elderly persons
Invited by the Swiss Red Cross in Tuzla, members of the Association “HO HORIZONTI” Tuzla organized workshop on “Identifying violence against the elderly.” The workshop was held on 12 and 13 August 2013 at the premises of the Association “HO HORIZONTI”. Trainer at the workshop was Mira Vilušić and assistant Jasminka Jukic. Participants were 17 volunteers of the Swiss Program “Help at Home” from the organizations of Red Cross Maglaj, Lukavac, Gradačac and Šamac, who are trained to visit the beneficiaries of this Program and who are in direct contact with them.

In very tolerant and supportive working atmosphere, volunteers showed that they rightly bear the name of the Red Cross aid workers. Although the group was heterogeneous by gender, age, education and experience they shown exceptional ability and a sense of working in a group, so that the workshop represented the full enjoyment and achieved full success.
